Giants Win 7-3 Over Dodgers

Giants Win Sixth Straight

The San Francisco Giants defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 7-3 on Tuesday night at Oracle Park. The Giants have now won six straight games and are 11-4 this season.

The Giants got on the board in the first inning when Brandon Crawford hit a two-run homer off of Dodgers starter Julio UrĂ­as. The Giants added two more runs in the second inning on a single by Mike Yastrzemski and a sacrifice fly by Thairo Estrada.

The Dodgers got on the board in the third inning on a solo homer by Will Smith. The Dodgers added another run in the fourth inning on a single by Gavin Lux.

The Giants put the game away in the fifth inning when Joc Pederson hit a two-run homer off of Dodgers reliever Phil Bickford. The Giants added another run in the seventh inning on a single by Brandon Belt.

Giants starter Alex Cobb pitched 5.1 innings and allowed three runs on five hits. He struck out six batters and walked two. Camilo Doval pitched the final 1.2 innings and allowed one hit. He struck out two batters and walked one.

The Dodgers bullpen was unable to hold the lead and the Giants were able to come away with the win. The Dodgers have now lost three straight games and are 8-7 this season.

The Giants will face the Dodgers again on Wednesday night at Oracle Park. The Dodgers will start Clayton Kershaw and the Giants will start Logan Webb.
