Air Canada Reaches Tentative Agreement with Pilots

Negotiations Resolved After Months of Bargaining

New Contract Includes Pay Increases, Improved Benefits

Air Canada and the Air Canada Pilots Association (ACPA) have reached a tentative agreement on a new contract, ending months of negotiations. The deal includes pay increases, improved benefits, and other changes.

The new contract will see pilots receive a 14% pay increase over the next four years. They will also receive a signing bonus of $10,000 and a 1% increase in their pension contributions.

In addition to the pay increases, the new contract includes a number of other changes, including:

  • Improved health and dental benefits
  • More flexible scheduling options
  • Increased training opportunities

The tentative agreement must now be ratified by the ACPA membership. A vote is expected to be held in the coming weeks.

The new contract is a major victory for both Air Canada and the ACPA. It will help to ensure that Air Canada remains a competitive airline and that pilots are fairly compensated for their work.
