Le Mans 24 Hours: Test Day Results
Official Porsches Set the Pace Toyota and Ferrari Show Pace
The 92nd 24 Hours of Le Mans is underway, with official Porsches setting the pace during Test Day. Toyota and Ferrari also showed strong form, suggesting a close race for victory.
The official Porsche 911 RSRs set the fastest times in both the GTE-Pro and GTE-Am classes. Kevin Estre and Michael Christensen were fastest in the Pro class, while Julien Andlauer and Patrick Pilet set the time in Am.
Toyota and Ferrari were not far behind, with the new Toyota GR010 HYBRID and Ferrari 488 GTE Evo showing strong pace. The Toyota of Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi and Jose Maria Lopez set the second-fastest time overall, while the Ferrari of Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Daniel Serra was third.
The 24 Hours of Le Mans is the world's oldest endurance race and is considered one of the most prestigious events in motorsport. The race will take place on Saturday 15 June and will be shown live on Eurosport 1.
